  • John Kesler says:

    Devin,

What do you know about the Fritchie Marsh / Little lagoon and surrounding areas? Area on Google Earth that is south of Avery Estates and east of Big Branch. Looks like a superb area to get into and hunt for redfish? Any insights into that small region of marsh?

    • Sure, why not? There’s only one way to know, and that’s to go.

That may have been the answer you’re looking for, but that’s the answer and the cold, hard reality of fishing.

You really just never know until you go take a look.

I have caught a couple reds back there, but I don’t think you’d go back there and catch a bunch because there’s just not a lot of tidal flow through the area.

Plus, it’s dredged and if dredge work is being continued there then you may have a hard time getting any fishing done.
