Man Denied Access to Home by Greedy Landowner

This man cannot reach his house because public water has been gated off.

David Schutte bought land in 1989 that can only be accessed via a slough from the Pearl River.

In recent times that slough has been gated off by the land owner, and David no longer has access to his property.

Abuse by landowners goes beyond fishing freedoms, it has impacted the daily lives of law-abiding citizens.

How You Can Help

You aren't powerless to prevent the loss of water access, join myself and other concerned citizens at the Louisiana Sportsmen's Coalition.

They are the only grassroots organization fighting for your fishing freedom!
