This podcast episode we interview Louis Paretti. Listen in, and learn some of his tips, like how he uses stingrays when searching for redfish.
Louis Paretti is a Slidell born-and-bred native who grew up inshore fishing for speckled trout and redfish. He is an accomplished angler, catching fish on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain, often with tactics and techniques used by few others. He possesses an intuition for fishing that goes unmatched. In fact, you can see his old fishing reports on www.RodNReel.com. He stopped posting reports because so many people didn't believe the catches he was reporting.

Lou is successful because he is always willing to try new things in the realm of saltwater fishing for speckled trout and redfish. All in the same week you can catch him jigging the Trestles for speckled trout, trolling for the same species or sight fishing for redfish.
What's really great about Lou is that he does not run a state-of-the-art bay boat. In fact, he runs a modest 16 foot long aluminum flatboat with a Yamaha 50 4-stroke mounted on the back. What makes him lethal for fish is not his equipment, but his skill and ability to "think like a fish", hence his nickname "Lou Da Fish."
